Pasta De Gohan [Sunway Pyramid]

Photobucket

pasta1
Like its name, this restaurant serves all sort of pasta in the Japanese ways.

Though, the first thing that came into my mind when I flipped through the menu,
"This is so expensive!"

Yes, almost every dishes there costs more than RM22. Luckily though, they have set dishes where by you can choose one pasta out of the three choices, one pizzas and one salad. One set costs you around RM30.

In comparison with their ala carte menu, the set meal is really worth it.

The Sesame Beef Pasta. This is unexpectedly and surprisingly really good!

The salad and garlic bread that comes together with the set meal. There are other choices like mushroom soup and tomato soup.

here's another pizza in the set meal but since my friend send me the photos, therefore I couldn't upload it.

Personally, I am quite satisfied with the meal, especially the Sesame Beef Pasta, it's really good! I think I would definitely come back again to try out the other varieties of pasta. IF I HAVE THE MONEY, that's it.

And by the way, the set meal is quite huge. So it's actually a wise decision to share.

Look at how satisfied my friends, Qer Xin and I are. =)

Shabu Shabu [Bandar Puteri, Puchong]

Photobucket

I love everything about Shabu Shabu!

sb1

Firstly, it is a buffet that comes with an affordable price -RM 26.50

Secondly, it is neat and clean

Thirdly, you don't have to walk around to get your food. They move right in front of you.

Don't believe? See it for yourself then.

sb2

See? The food moves on the conveyor belt right in front of you.

They serve very fresh pork slices. And they pick the parts where the meat is softest of all.

sb3

And they serve some fried/cooked food too!

sb4

This is the their own-made-sauce that makes Shabu Shabu even tastier!

sb5

As an avid steamboat lover, I must say I love Shabu Shabu a lot. Like I've mentioned, the place is really clean. It makes an OCD like me feel really comfortable.

sb6

Besides that, I love the fact that we can cook our own food individually! And there is an unlimited supply of ingredients moving right in front of you, you do not have to compete with the others to get the meatballs you want!

All in all, Shabu Shabu makes me satisfied and happy! If you want to bring me on a date, bring me here!

But I admit, this is not a place for a sweet and cozy date.

I love this place, nonetheless.

sb7

Go and try it out!

Oh, remember to book the place before you go, because it's always full during weekdays and weekends!

Carl's Jr. [Sunway Pyramid]

Photobucket

Fancy something huge?and pricey....

Love burgers?

Mcdonalds ones don't satisfy you enough?

Then try Carl's Jr.!

Their burgers are ENORMOUS.

burger1

Carl's Jr. is another fast food franchise in Malaysia. Unlike Mcdonalds, they serve different varieties of huge burgers, filled with multi layers of ingredients and come with rather high price tags. (Just stack up three McChicken and you can imagine how big the burgers are...)

There are so many different types of burgers to choose from. All of them seem really tempting but eventually I settled down with Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken while Andrew ordered a Famous Star With Cheese Burger.

My Bacon Swiss Cripsy Chicken!
burger2

Omggg...Look at the crispy chicken and the bacon! *yummy*

burger5

Andrew's Famous Star With Cheese Burger
burger3

The photo doesn't do the burger justice. The size is actually very big. Even guys have a hard time fitting it inside the mouth to bite!
burger4

Of course, being BIG is not enough! The most important thing is the taste.
And here's what Andrew said about his burger:

'While they are truly generous with the serving of the ingredients in the burger, the beef felt close to having no seasonings whatsoever. Other than the cheese melting over it. A good food to barf into your stomach, but not something I'd recommend if you're looking for taste.' (Doesn't sound very good here!)

However, I feel that my Crispy Chicken is satisfying, even though I prefer fillet-o-fish anytime. I must also admit that I am a little disappointed as I expected the burger to taste better since we paid quite a high price for them. Personally, I would pick the RM2.50 Ramlee Burger over Carl's Jr. for its taste.

Though, I would definitely visit it again to try out the other burgers since a lot of people commented that their teriyaki burgers are pretty good.

Oh... Just a gentle reminder though, remember to bring enough cash as these burgers are pretty expensive. You'll have to prepare at least RM20 per set! Of course, they come with a bottomless drink and natural-cut fries! (Pretty delicious!)

burger7

Feeling hungry already? xD
