So the other day (few months back), my family and I decided to go on a short trip to Telok Chempedak, Kuantan!
As much as I hate to say it, Malaysia's beaches are pretty much polluted unless you travel to deserted islands. Surprisingly, this place exceeded my expectations.
And best of all, the place was quiet and peaceful.
We stayed in Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, and the beach was very well-maintained.
Quite a clean beach! And the sand was soft, soft, soft!
Blue sky, water, wave, wind, quite a paradise!
Ang Moh & Son. Just some dad-son bonding time!
It was really quite. Felt like a private beach!
There are parts of the Telok Chempedak that is opened to the public, which is pretty crowded during the evening. We didn't walk all the way there so I couldn't tell you the condition of the beach is, but the part on the resort is very clean and quiet.
Kudos to Hyatt Regency for the maintaining work!
Unfortunately I didn't take many photos of the resorts. It's a 5-Star Resort alright, but a little too old and you could sense the old-age the moment you step into the room. Otherwise, the services and cleanliness are all great.
I love seaside trips too! Despite lots of negative reviews, Malaysia still has a lot of pretty unpolluted beaches. :D We should totally organize a beach trip one day. :P
ReplyDeleteThat''s possible. ;)
