Snowflakes [SS15, Subang]

Photobucket

Fancy something sweet and cooling? Then you have got to visit this place!

sf1

You can easily find this shop opposite Taylors University College. The same row as Starbucks. It's on the first floor, and it has a huge banner, you won't miss it!

sf2

There are 3 types of different series to choose from - grass-jelly, Soya and another one which I've forgotten.

You pick one of your favorite series, and then pick your toppings, which vary from red beans, grass jelly, pearl, peanuts and etc etc. Cool, isn't it?

sf3

This is actually their bestseller. If you love yam, then you will definitely like this. The yam ball, which is also called Taro Ball is made using their own recipes. According to my friend, it's really nice. (I am not a fan of yam, so I never try.)

sf5

This is my personal favorite -The Soya Series + my chosen toppings. I love the ice, it's soya flavored!

sf4

This is Lemon Jade Jelly. I ordered this out of curiosity as I saw a lot of people ordering it. Personally, I don't think this is worth the money. It's only ice and a bit of tasteless jelly on top. It looks really nice but remember, looks can be deceiving.

Personally, I really like this place. The serving is really big and it's worth all the money. Most of the desserts there don't cost more than RM5 except for their bestseller which is selling at RM5.50. Otherwise, it's all nice and cheap! And not forgetting that they are delicious! =)

The shop opens from 1pm till 11pm. So maybe you could swap your mamak sessions for this! =)

The Hair-Growing Woe

A year back, I decided to chop off my locks and let them regrow. Now I am stuck at an extremely annoying stage.

My hair is finally at shoulder length now. The problem is, because it's between the neck, the hair always flies up like this~ I am not sure how to explain this but I am sure girls will know how I exactly feel now!

How To Write Great Contents For Your Blog

Like I've mentioned in my post on Steps To Gain Traffic For Your Blog, one of the important point is to make sure that your blog has good content. It is the pillar of your blog, even though the layout designs do play a part but without good contents, your site won't even be going anywhere.

So how do we create great blog contents?

1. Know Your Stuffs Well
Before you begin on writing on your topic, make sure you it well. And make sure you're providing correct information because that's what readers want. They are here to gain perhaps a little insights or knowledge on something you've experienced. Therefore it is important to make sure that the date written is relatively accurate.

2.Use Simple Style
Avoid using fanciful vocabulary. Write as simple and as straight-forward as possible. Try to put yourself in the post. Instead of writing it formally, interact with your readers. Write as if you're speaking with a close friend. That way, you'll be able to build an "invisible bond" with your readers. They'll feel closer to you. And avoid using too many technical terms. Some of your readers are not professionals in the topics you're blogging about and they may not know what you're talking about.

3. Original Contents
DO NOT plagiarize. Put in your own opinions and thoughts. Your readers visit your blog because they want to listen to what you think or feel about certain things.

4. Keep Your Contents Neat
Picture speaks a thousand words. Sure, it's fine to blog with photos. But minimize your upload. Don't cram more than 20 photos in one post, it becomes untidy and it increases your blog's loading time which will drive your readers impatient and leave. If you must however, use blog excerpt. (The "read more" feature)

Blog content may play a major part in your blog's traffic. However, there are also other factors to consider as well. Do check out my Blogging Tips to find out more.

If you any tips or opinions, do leave comments and share them with everyone else. =)

Due to excessive high-graphics gaming and lotsa movies and dramas, my graphic card decided to give up serving me.

I had to sent it for repair, luckily my laptop is still under a 3-years-warranty. That explained my hiatus.

Grilled Fish [Broga]

Photobucket

If you have a car, and is more than willing to travel just to have a nice meal. Then this is a must-go-place for you.

fish1

This restaurant is located at Broga, a small village at the edge of Negeri Sembilan. (Near Nottingham University Malaysia)It sounds very far, but worry not, it only take roughly 45 minutes to reach there. The place is surrounded by mountains and of course a lake whereby they rear their fishes there.(Very pretty environment)

fish2

Even though the restaurant is really run down, which you can't really expect much from a secluded area. The standard of the grilled fish is up to par! The food is really fresh and there's no slight hint of 'fishy smell' in which a lot people dislike.

fish3

The dishes aren't very pricey as well. I went with my other 3 friends and we ordered 3 fishes and 1 vege. The total came up to RM60 only.

The fishes were so fresh till we finished them all.

fish 4

I am sorry I couldn't provide you with more photos as I was busy eating!
Anyways, for those who are interested and need more directions on how to go the restaurant, you may ask me! =)

Krispy Kreme [Mid Valley]

Photobucket

A great news for people who are lazy to travel all the way down to Berjaya Times Square to try the infamous Krispy Kreme doughnut, the second branch has already opened! And it's located at Mid Valley!

krispy1

I've actually tried it once during my last visit to Berjaya Times Square. Like J.Co and Big Apple, Krispy Kreme has many varieties and flavors of doughnuts to suit everyone's taste buds. The peanut-butter coated ones smell really nice.

kripsy2

But whatever you choose, don't forget to try its signature Original Glazed that has brought the Krispy Kreme to fame. It only costs Rm2.50 per piece.

kripsy3

It looks like a normal doughnut like you can find in any bakery. And there's a layer of sugar coating.

krispy4

Once you take a bite, you will notice the difference. The texture is really soft. It feels like the doughnut is melting in your mouth. I love the faint scent of vanilla in it, even though I am not very sure if it's part of their secret ingredients. The original glazed is indeed special. The only thing is that it is very sweet. Too sweet.

Personally, I like the original glazed, and I won't mind eating it again. (Hopefully I won't get diabetes) And I feel that the assorted varieties from J.CO and Big Apple taste very much better than the ones from Krispy Kreme. Mainly because they have many more choices to choose from and they are also not as sweet.

Oh, just a reminder, these things are really HIGH in calories.

Have you tried Krispy Kreme? What do you think?

How To Keep Your Blog Alive

Have I told you all that I have been blogging since 10 and only started take blogging a little bit more seriously recently? I bet you didn't know that!

Anyway! There are many blogs out there, many of which have been abandoned by their owners because the lack of time or inspiration to blog. Well, if your blog has no more than 10 readers, than it's fine as not many people is going to notice. However if you have many readers desperately waiting for your next post, it is important to keep the blog alive!

As I have a doodling blog, it's not easy to come up a series of new cartoons every other day. I have a life to lead as well other than just going online. Therefore, to make sure that my blog doesn't go dead for days, here are some rules I'll follow.

1. Scheduled Posts
If you are going traveling and you know you won't be around for days. Try writing a few posts before you leave and schedule them. It is a great way to keep your readers entertained while you're away or just too busy to update at the moment.

2. Break Your Ideas
If you know that the post you are writing is going to be very lengthy, separate them into two or three different parts then publish them on different days. That way, you can have a shorter essay in one post and also you don't have to crack your head for new inspiration as the next post.

3. Write When You Are Free
This is good when you have lotsa ideas in your head. Write all of them out in advanced, save them as drafts and publish them accordingly. That way, you don't have to be worried of what to write for the next few days, at least.

Yeap! That's it! That's how I get my blog moving despite the hectic lifestyle!
I hope these 3 simple steps will be able to help you in any ways.

If you have anymore ideas on how to keep a blog alive, why not share it with everyone?

Do You Wish For Time To Go Slower?

Photobucket

I've been busy and tired lately. There's a Starbucks near my house and everytime I feel tired I'll rely on the shots. I think it's really bad for health. I must stop this addiction. It is bad for my bank account as well. =__=||

I wish for more hours, maybe just one more a day.
Don't you sometimes feel that time passes too fast?
