How To Keep Your Blog Alive

Have I told you all that I have been blogging since 10 and only started take blogging a little bit more seriously recently? I bet you didn't know that!

Anyway! There are many blogs out there, many of which have been abandoned by their owners because the lack of time or inspiration to blog. Well, if your blog has no more than 10 readers, than it's fine as not many people is going to notice. However if you have many readers desperately waiting for your next post, it is important to keep the blog alive!

As I have a doodling blog, it's not easy to come up a series of new cartoons every other day. I have a life to lead as well other than just going online. Therefore, to make sure that my blog doesn't go dead for days, here are some rules I'll follow.

1. Scheduled Posts
If you are going traveling and you know you won't be around for days. Try writing a few posts before you leave and schedule them. It is a great way to keep your readers entertained while you're away or just too busy to update at the moment.

2. Break Your Ideas
If you know that the post you are writing is going to be very lengthy, separate them into two or three different parts then publish them on different days. That way, you can have a shorter essay in one post and also you don't have to crack your head for new inspiration as the next post.

3. Write When You Are Free
This is good when you have lotsa ideas in your head. Write all of them out in advanced, save them as drafts and publish them accordingly. That way, you don't have to be worried of what to write for the next few days, at least.

Yeap! That's it! That's how I get my blog moving despite the hectic lifestyle!
I hope these 3 simple steps will be able to help you in any ways.

If you have anymore ideas on how to keep a blog alive, why not share it with everyone?
