How To Write Great Contents For Your Blog

Like I've mentioned in my post on Steps To Gain Traffic For Your Blog, one of the important point is to make sure that your blog has good content. It is the pillar of your blog, even though the layout designs do play a part but without good contents, your site won't even be going anywhere.

So how do we create great blog contents?

1. Know Your Stuffs Well
Before you begin on writing on your topic, make sure you it well. And make sure you're providing correct information because that's what readers want. They are here to gain perhaps a little insights or knowledge on something you've experienced. Therefore it is important to make sure that the date written is relatively accurate.

2.Use Simple Style
Avoid using fanciful vocabulary. Write as simple and as straight-forward as possible. Try to put yourself in the post. Instead of writing it formally, interact with your readers. Write as if you're speaking with a close friend. That way, you'll be able to build an "invisible bond" with your readers. They'll feel closer to you. And avoid using too many technical terms. Some of your readers are not professionals in the topics you're blogging about and they may not know what you're talking about.

3. Original Contents
DO NOT plagiarize. Put in your own opinions and thoughts. Your readers visit your blog because they want to listen to what you think or feel about certain things.

4. Keep Your Contents Neat
Picture speaks a thousand words. Sure, it's fine to blog with photos. But minimize your upload. Don't cram more than 20 photos in one post, it becomes untidy and it increases your blog's loading time which will drive your readers impatient and leave. If you must however, use blog excerpt. Blog content may play a major part in your blog's traffic. However, there are also other factors to consider as well. Do check out my Blogging Tips to find out more.

If you any tips or opinions, do leave comments and share them with everyone else. =)
